(Subsidiary of Merck Life Sciences)  Department : ISCO (Integrated Supply Chain Operations)  Reporting to : Site Director  Location : Bangalore, Jigani Site  Job Summary:  - Develop Long-term, Medium-Term and Short-term Plans to meet and exceed customer requirement on the following:  - Make-To-Stock Traded Products  - Make-To-Order Traded Products  - Products on e-commerce platform  - Lead Production Planning and Intercompany Procurement Teams effectively to meet Sales requirement  - Lead S&OP process for Sigma Supply Chain while collaborating with regional and country planning heads for Merck overall supply chain  - Develop solid collaboration with Global demand planning and inventory planning teams for effective knowledge sharing and building capability on Demand and Supply Planning tools  - Build the team capability to take operational and tactical decisions autonomously  - Lead Packaging Team to deliver on Safety, Quality and Productivity goals for Packaged products  - Develop long-term strategy and vendor base while working closely with Sourcing teams for reliable supply base for critical raw materials, packaging materials and Contract Manufacturing and be responsible for managing the contracts operationally for the site  - Lead LEAN Projects on developing India as a manufacturing hub for chemical synthesis, reduce lead times on MTO products and improve fill rates on MTS products  - Lead LEAN projects on localization of Raw and Packing Materials  Key KPIs :  - Fill Rates% for MTS and overall products (Traded and Manufactured)  - OTIF %  - Master Production Schedule Compliance%  - Safety and Quality Score for Packdown operations (EHSIR, EHSLR)  - Number of Kaizens target  - Productivity Targets  Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :  Engineer, MBA (Operations) preferred but not mandatory with LEAN /TPM Background  Manufacturing Experience is must along with Planning & or Distribution & or Continuous Improvement: 10 to 14 years of experience.
