Merchandising Manager Online

Merchandising Manager will be responsible for curating, promoting, and selling designer clothing and accessories through online channels. This role involves various tasks such as managing a team, selecting merchandise from designers, creating visually appealing product displays, managing inventory, and implementing marketing strategies to attract customers.

Key responsibilities:

- Developing designer & category growth strategy for e-commerce.

Team Management: Training and developing Indian and Contemporary e-com merchandisers to ensure catalogs are accurate, fresh, complete and curated such that monthly sales targets are consistently met.

Sourcing and Selection: Ensuring full catalogs are uploaded for existing designers, and working with the central Merchandise team to identify and on-board new apparel and accessory designers in-line with the brand growth goals.

Inventory Management: Ensuring proper inventory levels are maintained and competitive ready to ship offering is built by monitoring stock levels, reordering merchandise as needed, and managing stock turnover.

Visual Merchandising: Creating visually appealing product displays and landing pages to maximize sales. Arrange products on key landing pages in-line with platform sales mix. Ensure requisite eyeballs on target designers and categories. include a mix of new styles and best-sellers to optimize sales and enhance the customer shopping experience.

Marketing and Promotion: Collaborating with the Central Merchandising and E-com marketing teams on demand planning to achieve the sales target. This involves inputs into social media marketing, email campaigns, meta campaigns etc.

Analyzing Sales Data: Analyzing sales data and customer feedback to identify trends, evaluate the performance of merchandise, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales and inventory management.

E-commerce Platform Management: Overseeing the operation and maintenance of the online platform, ensuring it is user-friendly, secure, and optimized for search engines.

Stay Updated with Fashion Trends: Keeping abreast of the latest fashion trends, industry news, and consumer preferences to inform merchandising decisions and stay competitive in the market.

Overall, an online designer apparel merchandiser plays a crucial role in curating a desirable selection of designer apparel, optimizing sales, and enhancing the online shopping experience for customers.
