Job title - Senior Manager/ Associate Director - Renewable Energy
Reports to Partner/Managing Partner
Job purpose-
Initiate, develop and support new and existing business opportunities to nurture the Renewable Energy vertical of MEMI.
Qualifications Required -
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical
- MBA in Power Management/ Operations/ Marketing/Finance
- At least 8 years of experience in renewable energy sector with minimum 3 years in a reputed consulting firm
Required Skills -
- Detailed knowledge of the Renewable Energy Sector, including its commercial, technological and regulatory drivers
- Demonstrable industry network (ability to maintain/develop your own client relationships) and experience in strategy consulting selling
- Analytical and project management skills including the ability to run strategy and deals related projects (including more than one project at a time), coaching junior team members and liaising with/presenting to clients.
- Willingness to travel at short notice and also be on tour for long periods
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Experience of software like PV Syst
Key Responsibilities -
- Generating, Assessing Project Opportunities in the field renewable energy.
- Would be responsible for generating business for the - Power System- practice of Mercados in line with the targets set by the Mercados Management.
- Generate leads with key industrial /potential clients and market for product /services portfolio offerings
- Attend seminars / workshops as speaker /participant /SME to create awareness of service offerings and generate leads
- Preparing Project Proposals / Technical documents for participating in bids
- Site and resource assessment for RE projects
- Undertaking feasibility and energy yield studies for upcoming RE projects/plant
- Conducting techno economic due diligence of renewable energy projects or portfolios.
- Multi-task effectively and balance time between project delivery and business development support effectively
- Develop Understanding of Policies and their qualitative and financial impact
- Calculating power output from PV systems based on location, design, equipment make etc. using appropriate tools and software
- Designing solar tariffs using cost plus and IRR approach
- Developing process maps for implementation of grid connected Solar PV plants
- Preparing Detailed Project Reports
- Ensuring the development and implementation of innovative and creative strategic pitch packs and marketing plans.
- Monitoring the team's progress in achieving the revenue targets and mentoring the delivery team to ensure that targets are achieved.
Working conditions / Location -
The base location would be Noida (NCR). However the applicant should be open to travel within and outside country to manage Projects. He/ She should also be willing to relocate (if required) to other locations within country based on project requirements.
Direct reporting -
Senior Manager/Associate Director - Renewable Energy will report directly to Partner and to the Mercados management at regular intervals.
