Mercados EMI - Senior Manager/Associate Director - Enterprise SaaS (9-17 yrs)

Job Purpose : To be the Engagement Leader for implementing a large scale business transformation assignment involving various activities such as load forecasting, portfolio optimization, renewable energy forecasting, advanced analytics platform for a large State owned distribution utility in Mumbai.

Job Responsibilities :

To lead the team in daily activities related to:

- Demand Forecasting

- Running Dispatch Model

- Managing the power portfolio management through energy optimization tools

- Scheduling of generating Units based on merit order and using the dispatch optimization model

- Micro management of power schedule of state utilities and generators to ensure uninterrupted supply to end users

- Supporting the client and analysts in activities related to energy trading and accounting.

- Tender management for portfolios in medium term and short term involving Hydro and renewables.

Education and Experience :

- Minimum 10+ years' experience of which minimum 3 years should be in programme management in Power or Technology Sector.

- B.Tech. in Electrical/ Computer Science from reputed Institutes

- MBA or M.Tech / M.S in Power Systems or Computer Science

- Broad knowledge of software engineering: languages, frameworks, techniques, and industry trends.

Required Skills :

- The candidate should possess deep knowledge and expertise in various aspects of the Indian and international power markets, including economic, policy, regulatory, technical and commercial aspects.

- The candidate should have deep understanding of regulatory economics in the energy/power sector, including policy formulation, market design and impact assessment.

- The candidate Awareness and knowledge of emerging technologies and trends shaping the power market industry such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, machine learning and IoT.

- The candidate should be able to conceptualize and prepare effective power point presentations

- The candidate should also possess strong collaboration and client relationship management skills.

- The candidate should have proven leadership experience in building, mentoring and leading teams. The candidate should have strong command of management principles pertaining to business development, operations, and growth in order to lead a team.

- The candidate should have Proficiency in business intelligence reporting and data visualization and should be skilled in converting data into actionable insights through comprehensive reports to stakeholders.

Working conditions / Location : Mumbai

Remuneration Structure :

Between : Rs. 35 - 60 lakhs depending on the past experience and aptitude of the candidate.
