Job Title - Sr. Analyst/Manager - Policy and Regulatory

Reports to - Director -Regulatory

Job Purpose - Assist the - Lead- of the Policy and Regulatory team of MEMI for assignments with assignment across India and abroad.

Experience and Qualification -

- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in policy and regulatory area for power sector.

- B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/ Electronics/Mechanical

- MBA in Finance/Operations/ Marketing/ Power Management (Preferred)

Required Skills -

- Sound knowledge of the Indian Power & Regulatory sector, including its commercial, technological and regulatory drivers

- Awareness about the recent policy and regulatory changes in the sector

- Preparing Project Proposals / Technical documents for participating in bids

- Analytical and project management skills including the ability to implement projects (including more than one project at a time)

- An ability to multi-task effectively and handling multiple assignments simultaneously

- MS Excel based Financial Modeling, Presentations and report writing

- Experience of handling tariff related assignments under Section 62/63, change in law related matters, business plans, commercial agreements (PPA)

- Experience of working with regulators/ distribution utilities/ transmission utilities/ generation companies.

Working Conditions / Location -

The base location would be Nehru Place, New Delhi. The applicant should be open to travel within and outside country to manage Projects. He/ She should also be willing to relocate (if required) to other locations within country based on project requirements
