Tech & MBA   Reporting to: Manager/Sr. Manager  Preferred background/experience:  Must have:  - 1-4 years of experience in energy & resource industry/ consulting  - Hands on experience in delivering client solutions for government clients  - Exposure and knowledge of regulatory framework and key drivers in the energy sector  - Proficient in excel based financial analysis and financial modeling   - Knowledge & experience of drafting petition/responses and advising commissions & utilities  - The ability to research, analyze, frame & edit reports  - The ability to research and prepare content for proposals & client solutions using PowerPoint  - Exposure to power sector regulations and policies  - Preferred  - Knowledge of electricity sector regulations and policies, tariff filing, ARR preparation in generation/transmission / distribution (GTD)  Key Responsibilities:  - Assist /Prepare financial models and analyse them for engagements  - Prepare reports for clients consumption  - Identify issues and provide solutions  - Present findings and recommendations to team members and clients  - Draft petitions for commissions  - Prepare PowerPoint presentations and present them to clients  - Prepare ARR's  - Advise utilities and commissions  - Track the developments in the E&R industry, prepare reports and submit it to team & clients  - Assist the team in business development activities by preparing project proposals, pitch books, update credentials etc  - Liaise with the client to provide them status updates and clarifications if any  - Contribute towards implementing the solutions/ recommendations   Skills required :  - Excellent excel based modeling skills   - Expertise in MS office packages   - Knowledge of statistical tools like SPSS  - Ability to maintain customer relationship right from initial requirement gathering through negotiations and long contract periods  - Excellent communication skills - presentation, verbal and written  - Excellent interpersonal skills
