Mercados - Analyst - Policy & Regulatory

- Analyse the policy & regulatory environment of energy/power sector

- Data (primary and secondary) collection, compilation and analysis to arrive at inferences/outputs/answers to the assignment's problem statements.

- Prepare excel based financial models (project finance/tariff models) considering technical, commercial and financial assumptions as per industry benchmarks as well as regulatory norms.

- Prepare study reports and regulatory documents (Orders/Petitions).

- Develop all round knowledge on energy/power sector value chain (Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Trading) both for conventional and renewable.

- Upgrade self-knowledge from time-to-time and track the upcoming developments in the energy/power sector such as green hydrogen, energy storage, electric vehicle, decarbonisation, net zero, etc.

- Updated about the latest trends/changes in the power sector regulatory scenario including the new policy notifications, Electricity Act Amendments, new Regulations, key judgements of higher courts, etc.

- Work in different project teams to pursue the completion of the client deliverables with high quality and in agreed timelines.
