MCA is an investment banking firm offering advisory and execution services in Mergers & Acquisitions, Funds Syndication and Capital Markets. Qualification and Job Description

1. Essential qualification

a. Masters in Economics from a reputed University in India/ outside with Specialization in Statistics/ Econometrics/ Mathematical Economics with knowledge of econometric and statistical packages like STATA, EVIEWS, SPSS etc.

b. MTech in Energy Management with knowledge of Load flow analysis

c. Masters in Economics and MBA

d. BE and MBA

e. CA and MBA

2. Preferred Attributes

c. Good written and spoken skills

d. Capable of working in a multi- disciplinary teams

e. Knowledge of economic appraisal, financial analysis etc. will be an added advantage

3. Areas of work

a. Policy, Regulations, Reforms, Tariffs, Commercial Agreements, Commercial and Financial Due diligence, Financial and Economic due diligence, technical viability assessment (to limited extent), business processes improvement, Institutional Capacity Development, PPP, Bid process management in the conventional areas of Power Sector, RE, DSM (including EE). Climate finance, Climate adaptation & mitigation strategies

4. Responsibilities

a. Provide data analysis support for project execution in energy and Public Financial Management sectors.

b. Support preparatory work for client during project execution including preparation of meeting agenda, minutes of meeting, presentations, review reports etc.

c. Support the Executive Director, Director and Associate Director in data analysis and reports for (1) proposal writing and (2) report writing

d. Client interaction in the area of public finance, financial, social and economic analysis.

e. Supporting business development initiatives in energy, and economic consulting opportunities including but not limited to proposal writing and data analysis

5. Clientele

a. ADB, WB, DFID, BHC, UNDP, GiZ, KfW, FoR, Central and State Governments, Regulatory Commissions, Public and Private Sector Utilities in India and Outside India.

6. Place of Posting-Delhi preferred but Mumbai can also be considered
