As Director of Strategy & Planning in our Monetisation team, youll be part of a group responsible for making many more such exciting features happen.

We collaborate with the Product, Finance, Business Growth and Analytics teams to help more suppliers across India make profits and grow their businesses easily.

About the role:


We are looking for a strong, independent, and innovative leader to Head the Monetization Strategy & Operations. You will be working directly with the General Manager (GM), Monetisation and all BU leaders to define the next 3-5 year vision for monetisation and contribute to the EBITDA growth of Meesho. You will be responsible forIdentifying the key revenue levers, setting the priorities, coming up with solutions, and drivingimplementation in different types of projects


What you'll do:


I) Long term Strategy / roadmap:Develop and drive projects that enable the GM to form the next 3-5 year strategic roadmap forMonetisation and specifically ads. These projects help bring outside-in perspective into the strategic planning of the vertical. Some of these include, but are not limited to: Building new monetization models for Meesho Competitive strategy of advertisement platforms across emerging markets Business strategy of Advertisement


II) Functional strategy and implementation Projects:Identify and create projects to generate 10X revenue impact within Meesho. Own and deliver strategic projects which are structural and long-term in nature for the company.


This will involve:


- Identify projects in conjunction with the leaders of the organization


- Structuring the problem in different parts and creating a strong hypothesis to unlock opportunity areas


- Mobilize execution resources and see the projects till impact.


III) Moonshot Revenue projects:These projects are to create new and adjacent business models /opportunities to Meeshos core business. These projects will deliver the next S-curve for Meesho.


This

will involve:


- Identifying new opportunity areas and revenue models


- Opportunity sizing of various models


- Designing and creating pilots and eventually MVPs of new revenue areas


- IV) Team building/coaching:Build an outstanding team of managers and analysts in the ads business.


- Build leverage bygrooming and coaching them to be future monetisation leaders at Meesho


What you'll need:


- 8-12 years of experience in startups/tech companies in similar roles (monetisation, business/ category, growth) will be great


- 3+ years of experience in leading large business


- Strong track record in building and growing 0 to 1 business


- Preferably candidates with MBA degree


- 2+ years of experience from Top consulting firm is preferred


- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills


- Superior problem-solving and project management skills


- Experience in team building, managing, and coaching will be a plus
