As Assistant Manager - Controllership, you will be one among the 50+ professionals working in domains such as Financial Reporting, Finance Operations, Business Finance, Treasury Management and Taxation. About the role:

As Assistant Manager - Controllership, you will focus on creating value for the business through strategic levers and choices. You will work to continuously improve the fixed assets, insurance and other finance processes while maintaining a rigorous control environment and compliance with various internal policies. You will find plenty of opportunities to leverage solid business judgment to drive the right results. You will work with data, making fact-based decisions. You will also drive automations to improve workflow efficiencies leading to enhanced accuracy.

What you will do:

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting requirements w.r.t FA, lease, Insurance and other activities

- Capitalization of the fixed assets, computing depreciation and ensuring the fixed assets purchased are within the budget

- Mitigation of risk of fixed assets through partnering with the insurance companies

- Prepare journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation

- Reconciliation of the marketplace payables and ensuring six-sigma efficiency for marketplace transactions

- Checking and authorization of various payments

- Maintaining relationships with the bankers

- Monitor and track bank balances of the company on a daily basis. Further, develop strategies to optimize treasury returns for the company by effectively managing bank balances

- Participate and drive standardization automation projects for process efficiency

- Attend statutory auditors, internal and external auditors

- Should have the ability to analyse, compare, and interpret facts and figures quickly; and be able to make sound judgments based on this information

What You Will Need:

- Certification as a Chartered Accountant

- 0-1 years of relevant work experience

- Article ship from Big 5s

- Well Planned, organized with keen attention to detail

- Strong analytical and time management skills
