Lead Accountant (Canada & Mexico Team )

- The Team Lead Accountant will be responsible for day to day accounting deliverable to Canada and Mexico team. Provide guidance and support to Accounting Team members in performing their duties, hands on experience on their tasks. Timely review tasks performed by Local team and sharing feedback. Performance review for the local teams.

Education - CA with 6 to 8 years of experience

Skills Must to Have:

1. Month end close

2. Balance sheet reconciliation

3. Team Management

4. Strong stakeholder management

5. US GAAP

Key responsibilities :

- Managing day to day accounting tasks

- Support during month close and year end

- Perform Fixed Asset related daily and period end activities

- Review/create critical journal entries

- Review of Balance Sheet Reconciliations

- Review of reports prepared

- Ensure intercompany balances are accurate

- Work closely with International controllers to ensure smooth consolidation process

- Interact with stake holders through transparent and smooth communication and internal teams

- Support on ad-hoc projects as assigned

Work experience :

- Month end close process

- Balance Sheet reconciliation tool experience

- Hands on experience in Consolidation Process

- Fixed Asset process in SAP

- Month end close process

- Comprehensive knowledge of multi-national bookkeeping

IS experience :

 Mandatory: SAP, Trintech, Excel
