Medlife - Assistant Manager/Manager - Treasury & Banking

- Leading/supporting banking & treasury activities including collection & payment operations

- Develop thorough understanding of treasury & banking products available in market

- Support the receivable & payable team by getting support from bankers on delivery TAT

- Open to explore new initiatives & projects for Treasury team encompassing other verticals

- Designing and implementing the work flows with user team and banks for CMS

- Handling Audits & reporting

- Banking Management : Issuance & updation of banking policy for various group companies, Bank A/c opening/ closure/ signatory modification.

- Cash Forecasting : Daily, monthly & quarterly cash forecasting. Daily investment & redemption of funds. Setting EOD sweep structure. Issuance & updation of Cash flow policy for the group.

- Fund Planning : Preparation of monthly cash remittance targets of units and monitoring actuals

- Handling Inter-unit funding and movement of fund across locations based on requirement

- Working Capital Management, measuring and monitoring of Key performance indicators across segments like DSO, DPO, DIO, DWC. Free Cash.

- Coordination with banks for fund based & non fund based facilities Forecasting & monitoring Bank Guarantee, Cash credit, LC Limits for various division/companies.

- Liaising and negotiating with banks for fund and non-fund based facilities at favourable terms to meet working capital requirements

- Analyses and review of bank charges on monthly basis. Ensure closure of unreconciled bank reco entries.

- Banking Tie-ups for collections including rate negotiation, finalization of processes/SLA- s, legal vetting & implementation. Tie-ups include Prepaid & Postpaid Cash management (CMS) tie-up for cash, Cheque collections, NEFT pay, Virtual Account for receivables. POS & Payment Gateway tie-up for accepting credit & debit cards, Wallet tie-ups, UPI tie-up, Facilitating API integration with payment partners . Key focus on Collection tie-up and processes including MIS formats required by Collections and finance.

- Payment tie-ups including price negotiation, process design, legal vetting & implementation - Ebanking, Host to host integration, cheque printing outsourcing, NEFT/RTGS payment systems. Implementation of ebanking at all units through Oracle encrypted reports. Automated Bank reconciliations, using Swift reports for daily balance reporting. Should have understanding of swift payments and MT940

- Working closely with bank and other partners for cash collection & cash payment at locations implementing innovative solution for better control and faster realization

- Handling corporate cards relationship, reconciliation and refilling activities.

- Works closely with banking partners to ensure that SLA is adhered to by the bank and the queries raised by various stakeholders are resolved by the bank within agreed TAT

- Managing banking relationships across various banks at different levels. Holding regular meetings with banking partners to review performance. Single point of contact for any bank dealing with Medlife and subsidiaries. Understanding new banking products and leading implementation in various divisions.

- Banking processes formulation for telecom and allied business. Issuing guidelines and processes related to payment & collection a/cs, reconciliation processes, cheque outsourcing, mitigating risks & establishing controls, Sox implementation. Circulation of various RBI notifications related to banking and new development in collection & payment banking.

- Cash & Bank - Collection & payment bank reconciliations all bank accounts, tracing un-reconciled items and entry for the same, petty cash reimbursement, forex payments & documentation, ECB return submission, statutory payments including customs & Taxes

- Understanding cost drivers and work towards cost optimization by working closely with cost owners.
