About our Client - Our client is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. With a well established global footprint and a very strong presence in India, they are looking for the Medical Director for one of their leading Business Units based in Mumbai

Job Description - Reporting to the Country Head – India, you will be responsible for the following. Creating an interface between company and doctors to facilitate flow of scientific communication on thrust brands /new products

- Ensure product promotional literature / activities are compliant to the internal code of conduct

- Organize focus group meetings with KOLs in specific therapy areas to assess therapy need and therapeutic fit.

- Plan and implementation of all clinical studies as well as support new product registrations as well as global clinical research initiatives.

- Conduct Medical and Safety assessment for new products

- Ensure local drug safety compliance to local regulations and global drug safety requirements

The Successful Candidate - You are a MD Pharmacology with 10+ years of experience with an MNC. You have exposure across all Medical functions especially Medical Affairs. You have experience in job safety requirements, clinical research & development. You have demonstrated team management and leadership capabilities and have strong communication skills.
