Your key responsibilities would include the following:
- Study global best practices in clinical areas and define world-class clinical excellence standards
- Align the doctors, consultants and clinical teams to the organization's goals and targets and create internal 'champions' for its vision and values
- Own and deliver the 'clinical excellence' brand promise ensuring that the hospitals are recognized for it amongst patients and the doctor community.
- Be an effective brand ambassador for the hospital within the larger community.
- Develop Clinical Protocols and act as the custodian for the same in each Hospital, to ensure high standards of patient care and superior clinical outcomes.
- Monitor compliance to clinical protocols for all medical services across hospitals
- Take corrective action in the event of gaps in service delivery.
- Sets standards for clinical quality excellence with help of Clinical Quality team
- Ensure RCA of all sentinel events and dissemination of learnings around mortality and morbidity reviews to all clinical staff.
- Identifies gaps in clinical service delivery and processes and institutes corrective and preventative measures to ensure that desired clinical standards are met and consistently improved upon.
- Plan and oversee the implementation of multidisciplinary care delivery models for clinicians
- Set the Clinical strategy and advise on manpower and other infrastructure requirements before the implementation of any new medical program.
- Study and benchmark world-class domestic and international clinical programmes to identify opportunities for developing new (or enriching existing) clinical specialities and programmes in the hospital.
- Build the business case for these programmes and influence stakeholders on their patient and commercial benefits
