About Us:

Our client is a multidisciplinary hospital in Pune offering a wide range of services in tertiary care. Having started operations in the year 2016, the hospital has blossomed to become a trusted provider of innovative yet affordable healthcare. The Hospital has a capacity of 250 beds and houses all specialties (Orthopedics, Obstetrics, emergency medicine, ICU, Neurology, Urology, radiology, ophthalmology etc.) under one roof. The hospital also offers post education after MBBS. It provides Diploma courses in 3 medical specialties-Pediatrics, Orthopedics and Obstetrics & Gynecology.

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administrative operations of our medical facility to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery.

Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Management: Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the medical facility, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.

2. Patient Coordination: Coordinate patient appointments, admissions, and discharges to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal use of resources.

3. Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and billing information, in compliance with regulatory standards.

4. Billing and Insurance: Oversee the billing and insurance processes, including verifying insurance coverage, processing claims, and addressing patient billing inquiries.

5. Staff Supervision: Supervise administrative staff, including receptionists, medical secretaries, and billing specialists, and provide guidance and support as needed.

6. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

7. Communication: Serve as a liaison between medical staff, patients, and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

8. Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the department budget, including monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

9. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for administrative staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

10. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies related to healthcare administration.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

2. Minimum 8 years of experience in healthcare administration, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.

3. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and medical terminology.

4. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

5. Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

6. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure.

7. Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

8. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
