What is the job like? We are looking for a seasoned techno-commercial leader with 8-12 years of experience who would have the opportunity to work dynamically within our fast growing business teams in a role that spans media buying, managing online media properties, analytics, business intelligence & strategy, growth & expansion, team building & management. This role requires a collaborative individual who has a good exposure to online media companies, digital marketing technologies, possesses superior analytical thinking ability and experience managing a team. This role is based out of our Mumbai HQs. Roles & Responsibilities : - You will work with our strategic publisher partners to manage operations and monetization of their several content & affiliate media properties. - Manage/mentor a team of digital & content marketers for day to day operations of the project. - Provide thought leadership on all various aspects of the project along with stakeholders across functions. - Primary owner of the P&L for the project. - Well-versed in identifying current marketing trends and customer needs to deliver highly targeted marketing campaigns. - Lead innovative buying strategies across platforms with a team of media buyers - Hold periodic meetings to train new media buyers in best practices and procedures developing skills to improve profitability and scalability - Work extensively with DoubleClick for Publisher, Ad Exchanges, DSP, etc. to maximize yield - Oversee execution of custom tracking architecture via Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize - Guide content production team with new content ideas and optimization techniques to improve conversion and bounce rates - Collaborate closely with tech leads to drive a cohesive vision and user experience with advertising campaigns - Use business intelligence tools to drive a deeper understanding of website performance - Analyse site traffic and ad revenue trends to facilitate management business decisions - Analyse and report on A/B testing to validate changes to the websites. Who should apply for this role? Technical : - Deep knowledge of digital media systems and tools - Google's advertising products (DV360, DFP etc.) - Yield Optimization - Paid digital media expertise across channels - Web Analytics - A/B & Multivariate Testing - UI/UX intuition and a keen design sense - Data analysis - Proficiency in MSFT Office; deep experience with data analysis in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced functions Non-technical : - Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills - Excellent written and verbal communicator - Forward / innovative thinker with ability to design / deliver within current capability, process, technology - Ability to deal with difficult/sensitive situations & appropriately resolve conflicts - Train entry level managers - Collaborative team-player yet comfortable with independence - Can multi-task, prioritize, and balance time across aspects of the project - Must be comfortable with revenue responsibilities - Ability to deliver results under pressure - Stress tolerant and well organized with the ability to prioritize heavy workloads - Having worked with a media company focused on the US market is a bonus Qualifications : - 8-10 years of relevant experience across online media companies, digital marketing and technology businesses with at least 3+ years managing teams. - Graduate in any stream.
