The ideal candidate have strong skill sets in: -

Experience in media planning agencies, broadcast channels.

Media planning & analytical skills

Skill sets in media strategy

Evaluation of Media, understanding new trends within the channel space.

Knowledge with both qualitative and quantitative projects

Work with Focus Groups with research agencies - brief writing, proposal evaluation, hypothesis formulation.

Knowledge of Primary and secondary research

Tracking competition - their schedules, promotional activities on air, growth/ decline.

Should be very conversant with various software's like BARC .

High level of Integration between, Marketing, Sales & Support business teams .

Education MBA.
