Job Description :
Specific Tasks and Responsibilities :
Planning :
- Formulating media strategy in line with the brand objectives
- Briefing the media agency for plans & evaluating the plans accordingly
- Drive innovation and new concepts / platforms to engage with the target audience
- Keeping a track and monitoring the media activity of our brands and competition. Tracking and management reporting of key MIS including SOE, SOV, Campaign efficiencies, Competitive landscape, etc.
- Expert knowledge on working of all media softwares
Buying :
- Ensure cost efficiencies through effective negotiation with channels / publications
- Buying - Benchmarking & guiding media agencies to obtain the best media deals
- Build productive relationship with media vendors
- Keep close tabs on the upcoming media properties and ensure associations with appropriate platforms
Implementation :
- Seamless coordination of any media activity with agency. Ensure smooth & timely implementation of campaigns.
Qualification & Experience :
- M.B.A (marketing), Masters in Mass Communications.
- 3-7 years of experience of media agency background, handling media planning and buying activities for well known brands.
Key skills required :
- Good Communication, Presentation, Negotiation, Analytical, Co-ordination Skills
- Expert Knowledge on media concepts, tools & software
Salary Range: 4-12 LPA
