1. Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation of fixed assets. 2. Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets. Including technology upgrades. 3. Perform Budget Control for Capex and ensure capex are under control as planned. 4. Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system. 5. Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed after taking proper sign offs from Project Team (EVA closure). 6. Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets. 7. Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation including reconciling the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger. 8. Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation. 9. Timely accounting of disposal/scrap and transfer of assets. 10. Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors (Statutory, Tax and Internal) in their inquiries. 11. Allocate tag numbers to fixed assets to effectively track them from time to time. Enable physical verification and reconciliation of fixed assets as per company policy. 12. Understand CARO requirements from Fixed Asset register perspective. 13. Ensure adequacy of Insurance & timely renewals as per company policy. 14. Ensure all insurance claims are settled on a timely manner
