Job Description : 1. Advise the Corporate Finance Head on various matters pertaining to tax planning & execution (for e.g. GST) 2. Periodically review all processes within the organization from a tax perspective & identify areas of opportunities for savings of tax via direct and indirect tax strategy suggestions 3. To work/drive building of the systems for data retention and tools for data analysis. 4. Ensure timely completion of assessment of VAT/CST in various states 5. Monitor developments on the tax front (new judgements, rules and regulations) and assess impact of the same 6. Extensively monitor tax litigation and monitor strength of the company's stand on a periodic basis 7. Guide the team in conducting/ arranging workshops for tax related awareness in teams/ departments basis need 8. Ensure adherence to all tax (direct and Indirect Taxation) related statutory compliances 9. Ability and confidence to deal with tax officer and external consultants for manage to day to day compliances and litigations 10. Deal with statutory auditor for quarterly and annual tax related tax compliance reporting 11. Build work relations of the team with audit committee and external auditors
