McCain - Technology Business Partner - India (10-14 yrs)

This position is accountable for the successful Business Partnering and Technology Service Delivery to the McCain India Business. The purpose of this position is to represent Technology at the leadership table of India, working with key business stakeholders to set Technology strategic direction, gather, analyse, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to and the implementation of new business processes, practices and information systems at all levels of complexity. This role also leads the deployment of technology capability across India and ensures their Business Partners are taking full advantage of all systems and supporting the strategy realisation and the company transformation. This position leads a team of 2 - 6 Business Analysts and Project Managers.

Core Accountabilities/Outcomes

People & Team - Build and lead a high performance team, through driving a strong vision and purpose, disciplined teaming execution and provide clear and meaningful goals. Holding the team to minimum standard and enforce non-negotiables. Coach team member and others to take responsibility for their development within McCain. Challenges others to develop as leaders, while serving as a role model. Shares acquired skills and business/system knowledge with team members through formal and informal channels.

Business Relationship Management with India Leadership Team (ILT) - Build strong, influential relationships and decision-making processes with key business stakeholders, shaping demand into a compelling Portfolio for that market/s optimizing the sequence of implementation of capabilities constructed by Global & Regional Teams.

Portfolio and Demand Management to drive business planning and develop prioritised demand management plans for assigned business portfolios. Builds and maintains the business technology roadmap as the key driver of business engagement. Ensures quality value cases are defined to enable technology capability.

Technology Advisory establishes and maintains a India technology operating model, aligned to: McCain Global Technology Vision and Strategy, Standards and Policies, India's Regulatory Framework and McCain India's Growth Strategies. Monitor and control the Strategy and Roadmap to sure it remains current and reflects the ambitions of McCain both globally and locally. Manage technology risk within India

IT Compliance

Product Delivery - Oversight for India product delivery across key capabilities of:

- Product Awareness,

- Project Management,

- Change Management,

- Business Analysis,

- Digital Innovation (PoC),

- Quality Assurance and

- Realisation

Service Management : Ensure the efficient delivery of Technology Services to the businesses served within agreed SLAs and financial targets, Ensure that Value created by project and process improvement is well reflected in the cost centre and in the P&L of the company. Budget & Capital management for the domain of accountability

Ensure effective Problem management by continuously looking for improvement using issue identification, root cause analysis, issue resolution, testing and appropriate change management), Target being that Issue do not reoccur anymore

Analytics - Adoption of the global Data & Analytics strategy. Continue to modernize data reporting and dashboards to improve use of data for decision making and strategy. Enforce global data governance process adoption. Work with all leaders in the function (global and in region) to "champion" the use of data-led decision making.


Financial: Responsible for Technology Capital budgets to $2M CAD and team Operating Budgets up to $1.5M CAD. Accountable for completion of project operating within approved budgets. People: 6 - 10. The mix of skills and number of people will vary over time. Other:

This position will have the freedom to conceive and propose new programs / projects that optimize the business model present in their geography.

The freedom to act of this position while leading transformational initiatives is confined only by the program / project budget and deadlines, project methodology, and the project management office. This position would not have the freedom to modify or set global technology procedures or policies, but will influence them and make founded request to adapt to the real benefit of the served business.
