McCain - Manager - Digital Marketing (5-10 yrs)

Primary Purpose of Role:

Responsible for planning and managing marketing campaigns in electronic and digital formats that promotes McCain's brand. Primary Responsibilities include planning media buying, building campaigns, analyzing metrics, and identifying trends to drive business growth for the business

Roles and Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

- Responsible for devising and driving eCommerce and digital initiatives for the brand

- Develop and execute digital campaigns & digital media for the Brand

- Develop and driving eCommerce and digital initiatives across the various product range

- Formulate a mechanism to track and evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives

- Closely work with media agencies and external vendors to develop and drive digital/ electronic initiatives across all the product ranges of the brand.

- Create media advertising from briefs and work with brand managers to develop electronic communication

- Understand global/ India digital trends and gain insights which can be adapted for the business

- Should be able to demonstrate expertise in content development, social media initiatives, SEO/SEM, establishing measurable KPI and ensuring target achievements

- Should be able to demonstrate the impact of digital initiatives on driving trials/business

- Should have handled/exposed to various analytical/tech tools - e.g. Google ad words, FB insights etc

- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI)

- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights. Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices

- Prepare and manage the digital marketing budget

- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience

- Owning that relationship directly with consumers (eg through influencers). Should have creative flair to engage with the target audience - strategic story teller

- Responsible for designing social media/e-commerce strategy

- Ensure brand consistency wrt through tone, voice and terminology, responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy, that reinforces our brand and values, and showcases the stories of our community and team

- Execution of an integrated contact strategy on the foodservice side as well (supplementing sales contact strategy)

- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals

- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics to track user engagement and suggest content optimization

- Using analytics, measure the success of social media campaigns

- Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies

- Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing

- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network

- Using analytics, measure the success of social media campaigns

This position reports to the Head of Sales and Marketing - Retail

Knowledge/Experience

To effectively perform in this job the position holder must have:

- FMCG Experience preferred

- Years of Experience- 4-9 Years

Professional/ Technical Competencies

1. Implement & measure Search Engine Marketing.

2. Strong Analytics skills

Qualifications:

Academic: Must have: Bachelor's degree - Business or Marketing

Must/Nice to have: Masters - Business or Marketing, MBA or equivalent
