Position Summary :
Responsible for implementation and execution of distribution, logistics and supply chain practices for the region at McCain India
Core Accountabilities/Outcomes :
1. New vendor development (DC /Transporter) :
- Identification of potential partners
- Compliance with KEQ norms
- Standardized operating procedure alignments
2. Contract Management :
- Negotiations on commercials/terms
- SLA Sign-off
3 Performance management :
- Measure and review KPIs like Fill Rate, On-Time Delivery, Temperature
- Compliance, QA Audit, Asset Utilization, Placement accuracy etc.
4 Inventory management :
- Monitor DOI coverage overall and coordinate with Supply Planning
- Manage obsolescence
5 New product launch management :
- Coordinate with planning team to ensure connectivity at DC
- Manage inventory through the trial period
6 Demand Planning :
- Coordinate & review with regional teams to develop demand plan for region
- Review Demand planner and securing supply plan
7 Order & Dispatch Management :
- Review Ordering status basis TDP plan
- Ensuring vehicle arrangement basis Order plan
- Rework Routing plan basis Orders
8 Team Management :
- Review Performance of Regional team and 3 P support staff & submit recommendations

Academic : Must have - Masters - SCM/ Ops
Professional/Technical Accreditations :
- Related Work Experience (Internal to the organization or external) :
- 2-4 years experience in area of Demand and distribution Management, transportation handling,
- Negotiation & Contracting. Hands on experience on SAP.
