Job Purpose To design, develop, and implement a suite of talent management and development solutions to help the organization grow and develop their team members to meet the aspirations of individuals and achieve current and future strategic needs of the business. Role description We are creating a new technical excellence (Tech-Ex) team to design and deliver high quality and innovative learning solutions for the Infrastructure, Energy and Environment (IEE) team of 120 people internationally, which also align with the business requirements. You will bring specialist in-depth knowledge of digital learning and virtual delivery to the team; essential as we move from classroom-based activities towards a more leading-edge blended solution. Working closely with the Associate Director in the Tech-Ex team you will engage with the IEE team members to identify training and development needs and lead on the design, development and delivery of innovative, engaging and resonant technical training products that are aligned to the business strategy. Job Responsibilities - Bring specialist, in-depth knowledge of instructor-led learning, virtual delivery and facilitation, and innovative solutions in the management and leadership development space - Undertake an initial review of requirements and assess and understand existing tools and resources available and recommend talent management solution including recommendations on a suite of suppliers to design and deliver bespoke content - Develop a prioritised road map for creation of a blended learning programme that will bring the maximum value - Bring existing skills and experience to develop content and content delivery methods that will fulfil the plan - Build and implement a system to assess the impact of the roadmap, and agree ongoing improvements with the senior management - Create and implement a system to facilitate the ongoing identification and addressing of training and development needs that will be built into updates roadmaps - Help to foster a culture of learning and development, through creative ways of communicating and creating engaging content - Design and deliver new content (digital and blended) Job Requirements - Degree at Bachelor level or above - Relevant experience in roles responsible for developing effective learning strategies while understanding the implications from a culture, business success and company practice standpoint. - Knowledge and experience with all types of learning delivery methods (classroom, one-on-one, online courses, webinars, e-learning) - Strong project management skills, including a proven track record of leading large, complex projects using standard project management practices and tools; ability to assume role as project lead - Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, communication, coaching and consulting skills. Ability to assess needs, influence, collaborate, deliver, and partner at the most senior levels in the organization - Ability to set direction, lead learning and development strategies that are aligned with business strategy - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and strongly preferred knowledge in training technologies - Experience and working knowledge in Learning Management Systems
