Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Salesforce project manager to oversee projects developed by our business on various Salesforce platforms. In this role, you will be tasked with determining project scope, goals, milestones, and short-term objectives for the development team. You will also take charge of costs, client relations, and final approval.

To ensure success as a Salesforce project manager, you should be knowledgeable about the various Salesforce solutions and be skilled at leveraging the talents of your development team. A top-notch Salesforce project manager will be skilled in managing projects for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce1.

Objectives of this Role

- Lead manage the Salesforce Developers, Leads in the Salesforce Practice group and ensure successful delivery of projects in a smooth manner.

- Effectively run business user design and user experience sessions.

- Contribute significantly in the Practice and Competency development.

- Align himself/herself to the organizations vision and develop oneself into a Delivery Manager role in near term.

- Handle internal team, stake holder, client and external communications very well.

- Develop great rapport with clients, partners and handle the interactions really well.

- Support organizational pursuits by owning the functional, team and project management pieces of the scope. Also take part in pre-sales and capability presentation activities.

- Prepare and present project status reports, team utilization and other required reports to management.

- Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives, and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully.

- Mentor and groom team members very effectively to ensure smooth delivery of projects with the highest quality possible.

- Be good at Requirements Gathering Analysis and should also possess Documentation Skills.

- Strong project management skills (including Agile and Scrum) - need to be able to demonstrate good examples of strong leadership and delivering projects on-time against tight deadlines including holding team members accountable and regular checking-in to ensure deadlines are met.

- Good at dealing with people issues and ensure a high spirited team.

- Actively participate and contribute towards branding in various forums by exhibiting strong technical/functional thought leadership

- Plan resource placements into projects and oversee their performance on a regular basis.

- Set, Track and Review the KPI s, KPA s of the team members, perform their appraisals, give periodic feedbacks and lay path for reaching higher milestones for the practice.

Skills and Qualifications

- B.Tech or MCA

- 4+ years of experience in Project Management

- 5+ years of CRM techno-functional experience in Salesforce

- Gather, elicit, translate and document business, functional and technical requirements from customers.

- Assists clients in the design, business architect, process development, functional implementation, and support of Salesforce CRM Applications.

- Uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and SFDC CRM experience to lead business / functional discussion with the client and internal teams (design, build, test teams).

- Demonstrate experience in Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methods for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Handle the junior and mid-level developers very effectively in terms of work assignment, grooming and mentoring in order to perform quality deliveries and also have a good work-life balance along with excellent job satisfaction.

- Should have the ability to get into any phase of the project, identify risks, take corrective steps, suggest solutions and bring a project out of crisis.

- Experience and demonstrate an understanding of overall SFDC architecture and platforms

- Experience on Lightning Design System, Lightning Components and Lightning Web Components

- Experience implementing Small, Medium and Enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions

- Must have fair understanding of the design, development, customization and implementation of Salesforce applications such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud etc

- Good to possess salesforce certifications.
