The South Zone HR Head position, based out of Bangalore requires the incumbent to display thought leadership & partner closely with zonal stakeholders, especially the leadership team to own & lead the HR initiatives for the distribution (sales) team. The role involves a complete ownership of employee lifecycle from talent acquisition to talent retention.  In addition to managing the recruitment of right talent, the role involves owning the 'distribution' talent in the zone by leading their talent discussions, identifying the high potentials, succession planning, performance calibrations & conversations, career movements, engagement & retention. Additionally there will be operational responsibilities of managing the separation process, maintaining employee relations & employee disciplinary process.  Given the seniority of the role, it will be reported into by a team of competent HR professional who will help drive the HR agenda in the zone.  Key Responsibilities:  Manpower Planning & Talent Acquisition:  - Meet all zonal manpower requirements as per agreed turn around time, effectively utilizing different sources: internal & external.  - Building internal talent pipeline for Agency Development Managers (ADMs)  - Inducting new joinees.  Ensure quality of recruitment:  - Hire and develop relationships with exclusive search firms in the zones  - Coordinate with Recruitment team at HO to establish relationship with NAUKRI, hire through employee referral  - Manage costs within business plan nos.  - Implement various selection mechanisms (including tests)  Talent Retention:   - Employee retention with a focus on Distribution channels - Study attrition trends, understand employee & market related dynamics.  - Conduct exit interviews, document the same and forward relevant information and papers to HO  - Training MP/P/ADMs on assessment skills  Talent Development :   - Development plans for top 25% employees in the zones:  - Facilitate identification of development plans  - Facilitate implementation of training calendar  Employee Relations : Maintain harmonious employee relations  Performance Management :  - Implement performance review cycle for the zones  - Ensure all appraisal sheets are completed and sent to HO within plan timelines  - Facilitate the performance review process to ensure that all reviews are completed within timelines  - Facilitate building of a Leadership Pipe through the Management Development Process  - Educate employees on usage of the online performance management system  Compliance :  - Ensure compliance with all Labour Laws in the zones  - Manage/ Resolve any non-compliance, employee disciplinary & sexual harassment cases  HR Operations:  - Manage all joining/ exit/ F&F and related tasks
