JOB SUMMARY:

End to end conceptualization, design, detailing, execution and project management of key projects in partnership channels. The person will responsible for working with and/ or leading cross functional teams across the distribution, digital and operational functions to execute projects. The job currently involves being integral part of Banca OA readiness team working closely with DMD and regular interaction/s with CEO and COO.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a high impact individual contributor role in MaxLife Strategy team that would need to lead strategic projects in collaboration with the cross functional teams. The position requires sharp problem solving, strategic thinking, effective communication and influencing skills. Each project assigned to the person will need to be delivered accountably with clear deadlines and outcomes (well-defined KPIs)

Banca OA Readiness Program (Project Optimus)

- Comprehensive external market benchmarking along with critical assessment of Banca distribution/ operational performance to identify initiatives that will help MLI compete effectively in OA environment (short/medium term)

- Work closely with the various teams (e.g. distribution, digital being most important) to design strategic options, evaluate selected options and make recommendations on decisions involving investments or decisions, comprehensively to senior management along with program leaders.

- Develop detailed project planning for the agreed initiatives

- Program manage the execution of the agreed project plan and ensure delivery on agreed timelines.

- Execute and deliver on projects with predetermined measures of success

General responsibilities

- Bring an outside in perspective to the business problem.

- Use networks within and outside of the industry to learn best practices and evaluate how they can be used and applied to Max Life's business problems.

- Contribute to building strategies, work closely with - planning- and drive change activities to achieve - best in class- competitiveness for the specific work area/ process

- Help in charting a path to help guide the company's growth and in doing so, understand and apply software technology and tax and accounting industry knowledge to guide strategic choices

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE


- MBA from tier-1 b schools (preferably from IIM's A/B/C/L, ISB, MDI) with 4-5 years of experience

- Prior experience in consulting / corporate strategy roles will be preferred

- Should have worked in project execution/ management role - preferably in distribution channels and in digital

- Excellent skills in MS Excel and Powerpoint

- Life insurance experience is an added advantage, but not mandatory

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- Self-starting and self-managed attitude

- Result-orientation

- Strong collaboration & stakeholder management

- Analytical & problem solving approach

- Good understanding of Sales & Distribution Strategy

- Experience in executing Business Transformation programs will be added advantage

- Conversant with contemporary Digital & Technology enablement tools for salesforce
