Job Summary - Establish & implement the risk management framework, to identify, assess, monitor, measure and control for a broad spectrum of risks. - Work with audit, risk, outsourcing, investment & compliance committee to ensure senior management prioritization of action plans for identified risks. The position is required to adopt a partnership approach to understand underlying operations and recommend appropriate and fit-for-purpose practices in the below domains. - A seasoned risk manager having experience in handling interactions with function head to challenge on the adequacy of proposed actions on the matter of risk identification, actions plans definitions and risk closures. - Define and embed the Key Risk Indicator (KRI) for the process and sub-processes with limits and threshold which are measured for breaches if any. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Risk - Designing and documentation of the various elements of the risk management framework involving discussions and meetings with the Senior management - Operationalize the various elements of a risk management framework across the organization - Facilitate the development of clearly defined & updated policies & procedures for risk management. - Responsible for managing the implementation and monitoring of the Operational Risk Management framework to identify, assess and mitigate the operational risk that arises from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems or external events. Assist in the establishment of a limits structure for managing the risk concentration. - Ensure continuing Monitoring of the Key KRIS and Incidents and Alerts at the right time - Plan & execute quarterly risk assessment process in accordance with established standards, policy and procedures. - Conducting the management risk committee and the board risk Committee proceedings - Monitor, evaluate and challenge the organization's success in managing its risks - Organize appropriate risk reporting, internally and externally - Discuss mitigation plans, heat maps & description of processes with process owners. Financial Risk - Develop risk appetite limits for key risk in the risk registers - Identify key risk indicators - Stress testing - Analyze the credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, and ALM risk. Minimum Qualification - A Bachelors and Masters degree preferably in Finance, Economics or related subjects. - CA/MBA/FRM from premier institute. Additional qualification in Risk Management shall be preferred Minimum Experience Minimum 8-15 years of similar/ relevant experience in a consulting or financial service organization. At least 2-3 years in a leadership capacity within a risk function. Working in Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Financial Control function will be preferred.
