About Maverick:

Maverick Edutech is an initiative in the education sector. An eclectic group of people from diverse backgrounds with a combined experience of 50+ years have put their heads together to create a high precision curriculum module which contributes to the integral development of the whole child. Our team includes researchers in the field of math, language arts, philosophy, and psychology; experienced school leaders who worked with schools like Rishi Valley and Shriram School; Teach for India fellows; and IIM Graduates.

Our vision is to create curated learning environments with effective stimulus, incorporate play using educational toys into regular curriculum, and form informed facilitators to reduce the widened gap between the way students are taught and the way they need to be taught - in terms of both the scale and the intensity. We aspire to achieve this by setting up - play labs- in schools across the country.

Roles and responsibilities:

A) Strategic Role:

- New business development

- Brand Building Strategies

- Identification and segregation of potential Market Segments

- Revenue generation through new account development and key account management

B) Operational Role:

- Handling team of 40-50 people

- Responsible for achieving sales targets

- Defining the exact marketing processes and responsible for executing the same.

- Developing relevant business proposals

- Monitor market Intelligence within the industry in terms of market development, new projects, competitive activity, new customers etc.

- Handling meeting with key clients.

- Provide necessary training to sales team as and when need.

- Monitoring & evaluating the performance of sales team - by guiding them to move in proper direction.

C) Organizational Role:

- To enhance organizational effectiveness through setting up appropriate marketing strategies

- Consistent follow-through and resourcefulness, in order to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
