Solution Architect - Azure

We are looking for a Azure Evangelist with strong organizational and planning skills and proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a high level of motivation and a self-starting attitude, and the ability to work with minimal direction and supervision. The ideal candidate will have a metrics/data-driven analytical mindset of constantly measuring success and driving continuous improvement in tools, content, and programs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing & partner-facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management and Developers.

You will:

1. Be a SME and maintain knowledge of all aspects of Azure Platform

2. Develop commercially available applications/integrated-solutions on the Windows Azure Platform

3. Face-off with Partner and customers, owning the overall technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and Maveric Solution team.

4. Own the Cloud Infrastructure and Azure Applications Development, technical customer engagements including architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects and/or pilots.

5. Represent customer's voice to our partner (Azure) and Maveric's internal Product /Solution design team

6. Work alongside architect evangelists, developer evangelists, and platform strategy advisors to help accelerate our customer's success.

7. Build and Manage a team of Microsoft Azure Platform Experts and set the foundation of a CoE

8. Strengthen the Azure competency through required trainings, certifications and hire-and-nurture programs.

9. Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap.

10. Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment

11. Collaborate with other Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform

12. Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community

13. Be an Azure Platform evangelist with customers, partners and external communities

14. Help our customers achieve their own digital transformation, leveraging the power of Microsoft Cloud solutions and support offerings

15. Generate proposals built and focused around identified business needs

16. Help senior leadership team to create strategy and roadmap for integrated solutions on Azure platform

17. Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into Solution requirements to enhance user satisfaction

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

Must-Haves

- Experience with scalable architectures using Azure App Service, API management, serverless technologies, container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry etc.), API management, microservice frameworks etc.

- Software development practices like DevOps and CI/CD tool chains (i.e. Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, GitHub).

- Competitive Landscape. Knowledge of cloud development platforms preferred Partners.

- Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.

- Deep curiosity about customer- needs and a track record in- building and delivering customer-centric solutions

- Experience with "on-premises to cloud" migrations or IT transformations.

- Experience in Banking/Payments/Cards industry back-office and mid-office processes (e.g. underwriting, KYC, Regulatory reporting etc). Familiarity with banking data constructs would be a big plus.

- Experience in software- product- management and good understanding in Banking domain

- Experience- defining and- capturing- product- requirements- and- transforming them into- a Strategy and solution roadmap

- Drive solution development through big-picture solution development

- driven to help business realise the potential of digital transformation and their role in building digital economies.

- Ability to serve as a team lead and coach employees at lower levels

- Strong prioritization- skills- and- the- discipline to focus on high- impact- activities

- Experience in Solutioning , Consulting , implementation and responding to RFPs/RFIs ( pre-sales )

- Ability to analyse and identify technical drawbacks and increase process efficiency by re-thinking.

- Software Engineering Methodologies like SDLC e.g. Waterfall, Iterative (Agile/Scrum)

Nice-to-Haves

- Experience with trends in digital banking and FinTech areas

- Fundamental knowledge of networking including TCP/IP ports and firewalls, network protocols, and IP networks

LOCATION: Bangalore

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 8 years of total experience, with at least 4 years in Azure and BFSI domain

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

- A bachelor's degree : BE/BTech/MCA from tier-1/2 Schools with excellent academic achievements

- MBA/MTech from reputed institutions

- Certifications : Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert, Technology Manager or other Azure related certifications, TOGAF, ITIL
