About Mastree- Mastree is an online LIVE English learning platform for students of Grades 1-12. Mastree's application-driven 3-in-1 English skills course helps shape children into great communicators, who are capable of taking charge of their lives. About Founders: Shrey Goyal &amp; Royal Jain both graduated from IIT Bombay in the year 2016, where they studied Electrical Engineering &amp; Computer Science respectively. They go way back when they used to study in the same batch for IIT-JEE coaching. Shrey (All India Rank -24, IIT JEE 2012) was part of the investment team at Blume Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund where he covered Ed-Tech &amp; Deep-tech for Blume. Pre-viously, he co-founded SoundRex (sound technology startup) &amp; was briefly a management consultant, while working across multiple countries (Korea, Taiwan, Philippines) in South East Asia. After graduating, Royal (All India Rank -75, IIT JEE 2012) worked in the Quantitative Finance role (strats &amp; modeling) in Morgan Stanley. His passion for startups also made his move &amp; work in Deep learning over Audio Processing for a Silicon-Valley based startup named DeepAffects. On the side, he also mentors Data Science students at Springboard. Job Profile- Art Director This person will be solely responsible for interpreting Mastree's business needs and developing creative solutions. He/She will envisage, develop and implement creative strategies that establish Mastree's niche in the current K-12 online educational market. He/She will work under tight deadlines, oversee multiple creative projects and manage a creative team. Job Responsibilities The Art Director will: - Understand and channel business needs into creative solutions - Take responsibility for the creative vision and the quality of creative output across team members - Mentor, develop and inspire the creative team - Ensure that all of the organisation's creative output and visuals are consistent with the overall brand - Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines - Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure the profitability of design projects - Contribute to marketing campaigns, advertising, sales collateral, press releases and executive presentations. Personal Profile The Art Director should have: - A Master's degree in a visual or experiential design from a recognised university - 5 plus years of experience as a visual designer, preferably in directing complex solutions for digital products in a startup/product-based company - Experience in brand communication design, infographics, character design and art for social media - Experience in social media advertising - Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas and solutions to internal teams - Extensive supervisory experience in leading and managing a creative team - Ability to work effectively in a team setting and synthesise abstract ideas into concrete design implications - A deep understanding of design, photography, visual arts and pop culture - Awareness of current trends in technology and social media - An openness to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
