Job Posting Title Manager - Business Development Job Description Summary - Overview - This position is for a Manager - Business Development for the Payment Transactions Processing business unit, based in Mumbai and manage sales in South Asia region - Business Development Manager will be focused on selling Processing services to Issuers &amp; Acquirers in the region - The position reports to the Vice-President - Business Development and will be responsible for Hunting new deals including sales, commercial negotiation, contracting and customer management - Selected candidate should know how to work in a matrix organization, and to collaborate with respective country sales teams &amp; internal teams for winning new processing business - Focus on achieving targeted Sales &amp; revenue numbers is critical - BD Manager is required to Build &amp; maintain strong, long-lasting connects with prospects in the region, which he may lead or oversee with other team members - Needs to have a deep understanding of the Technology stack; AND understanding of Nepal &amp; Bangladesh markets will be an advantage Role - The BD Manager shall assess, understand &amp; represent customer needs internally and put together the right solution and a Winning proposal - In addition, the BD Manager shall work towards building a sustainable relationship with customers in the region and help WIN new &amp; repeat business - The BD Manager will work meticulously to build relationships across all levels within the client organization to establish the Mastercard brand and acceptance of the Processing business unit - The BD Manager will work to get first hand understanding of clients business plans, budgets, pain points and their perceived value of processing as a service - The BD Manager will be the Primary point of contact for all key &amp; nominated accounts to provide guidance &amp; support on customer issues by coordinating with internal teams and help achieve customer delight - The BD Manager will be an individual contributor &amp; will need to have a deep understanding of contract commitments and the process of contracting &amp; SLAs - The BD Manager is expected to earn customer trust based on his / her business insights; AND shall work towards developing a trusted adviser relationship with key executive sponsors All About You - A Management graduate from a leading institution, with relevant experience in Processing service sales - Knowledge of Payment Card domain is a must (Credit, Debit, Prepaid Cards) Excellent Listening, Presentation, Negotiation skills - Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly &amp; effectively at all levels of the organization, including Executive &amp; C-level - High level understanding of Card Issuance systems, Software, Competitors in the space - Connect with &amp; Understanding of players in the ecosystem - Suppliers of Card plastics, Perso bureau, ATM &amp; POS terminal vendors, Managed Service vendors - Deep understanding of the Technology stack will be an added advantage - Understanding of Nepal &amp; Bangladesh markets will be an advantage - Excellent verbal &amp; written communications skills - Team player with a proven ability to manage Client Perception; And having attention for detail
