Technical Recruiter - Placements Masai School, a pre-series A funded EdTech start-up is looking for a Technical Recruiter to take on full responsibility for handling graduating students for their placements What is expected of you : Provide career services to our graduating students : - Conduct mock interviews and provide structured feedback - Understand individual student strengths &amp; weaknesses - Help students identify relevant roles &amp; opportunities - Provide feedback &amp; direction to students after interviews - Provide career counselling as needed Plan hiring events : - Set up placement week(s) for each graduating batch - Run placement process on an ongoing basis for remaining students - Help alumni in need of placement due to any reason Work with curriculum team : - Receive feedback from recruiters &amp; convey to the curriculum team - Analyse patterns in feedback if any &amp; share with curriculum team - Conduct and present competitive analyses and market research - Identify industry trends and insights Partner with the BD team : - Requirement planning - Onboarding new partners - Take charge of the relationships with our hiring partners - Ideate &amp; execute strategies to grow the hiring partner network - Effectively communicate new developments to current &amp; prospective clients - Translate ideas to actionable items that deliver business results - Analyse, recommend, and lead the implementation of growth initiatives What you will need to bring : - 5-7 years of work experience as a recruiter - Track record in establishing &amp; maintaining client relationships - Experience dealing with entry level candidates - Strong technical orientation, keeping abreast with latest technologies - High standards of excellence and attention to detail - Excellent written &amp; verbal communication skills You will be expected to : - Think on your feet - Not be scared of coming up with new ideas - Learn quickly - Be able to use data gathered from your experiments to draw conclusions A successful candidate will be : - Passionate about making a difference with their work - Self-starter with the ability to effectively work autonomously with little oversight - Equipped with strong fundamentals but flexible &amp; willing to experiment Bonus if you have : - Prior experience working as a Software Developer - A desire to level the playing field - A non-traditional story.
