- Masai School, funded JobTech start-up is on a mission to pioneer a new model of accessible higher education with no upfront costs and where the school invests in the students instead of the other way around. We are rethinking learning so that we can address the needs of both students and employers in tandem. Masai school offers intensive & immersive courses that imparts technical skills and soft skills they need to launch a new tech career. We offer both full time and part time courses to our students.

- We are looking for Director - Operations to join our team and take on responsibility for providing a best-in-class experience for all Masai school applicants while helping them navigate the process of making a life-changing decision.

What is expected out of you?

- Enthusiastically plan and execute the day-to-day operations at Masai, which involves interacting with Cross functional teams.

- Exhibits superior Analytical and Problem-solving skills for monitoring the performance of running batches and implementing actions to improve the learning experience

- Exhibits professionalism throughout periodic interactions and communications with students including emails, phone calls and text messages

- Master the use of internal systems and applications in order to become more efficient in your daily activities

- Demonstrate empathy for the struggles and challenges our students have undergone.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members, faculty, students, alumni, administrators and staff.

What you will need to bring :

- At least 8 - 10 years of experience in Operations/ Project/Program management

- High standards of excellence and attention to detail

- You enjoy technology, Comfortable in using (CRM systems, MS office & G Suite) in order to optimize for efficiency and success.

- A growth mindset: you're always looking for ways to improve yourself

- Determination to persevere through challenges and adversity, Confidence and ability to learn and use new tools and systems

- To be organized and methodical- we're a start-up with lots of moving pieces and you must stay on top of them

- Be the advocate of Masai Culture.

- Lead the team strategically and be an Inspirational Leader.

A successful candidate will be :

- Comfortable with handling data and observing trends for future course of action

- One who demonstrates strong empathy towards the challenges faced by students.

- Believes strongly in streamlined communication, preferably written communication

- Master at getting things done through cross-functional interactions

- Highly organized with a distinct propensity for timeliness and professionalism

- Passion to deliver the highest levels of customer service at all times.

- Ability to work extended hours as and when the situation needs

- Must be a team player with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and

- meet targets/deadlines.
