ASSOCIATE/SR ASSOCIATE

Qualifications and experience:

- A three/five year law degree from a reputed university with a good academic record

- 1- 3 year's experience in the corporate practice of a well reputed firm (Freshers can also Apply)

Knowledge areas :

- Working knowledge of some of the following: company law, FEMA, FDI, SEBI and RBI regulations, Competition law and policy, constitution, Contract Act

- A basic level of understanding of at least one area of corporate practice

- Worked as team member (associate) in medium sized transactions on joint ventures, M&A, Venture Capital, restructuring, agreements if not a fresher.

- Able to understand a brief for opinion and provide the research for the same.

- Able to work in assigned areas of a due diligence report and understanding of the priority areas for review one.

- Up to date knowledge of current case law and changing regulations

Other skills :

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Analytical ability- able to analyse laws and apply the same for practical use

- Good turnaround time, detailed oriented

- High level of integrity, honesty and commitment to work ethics
