MMGS is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Pune office: BI Sr Manager Delivery Technical Skills : - As BI Senior Manager Delivery, you are responsible and accountable for the entire Business Intelligence Solution Delivery. Hence, strong experience of managing and delivering BI Programs is a Must Have for this role - Strong hands-on knowledge and expertise across BI Technology Stack including Data Warehouse (Oracle), Informatica and a host of BI Reporting platforms including QlikView, QlikSense, SAP BO, etc. Thus, experience of managing BI Teams across these Technology spectrum is required. - Technical Experience on DWH, Informatica, QlikView, QlikSense, Power BI, Tableau or SAP BO would be required. - The role would also need to work closely with the Admin and Support Teams towards providing better BI Reporting Solutions for the Business - Would require strong Project/Program Management skills to work closely with Business Teams across the globe - Technical Skills - Strong in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints - Good understanding of latest development best practices - Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering software that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities Delivery management : - Lead standard delivery and enhancements on existing BI applications from India - Ensuring timeliness and quality of deliverables, while maintaining latest, industry accepted tools and technology standards in delivery - Strategic Orientation: Lead short-to-medium planning for people, process and technology for teams and translate plans to specific actions for teams Stakeholder Management: - Proactively seek feedback from stakeholders to bring about changes in local teams, to establish stronger systems and processes - Build credibility for local teams by showcasing available talent at regional/ global platforms, while looking for opportunities to expand their contributions - Enable teams understand and appreciate the client's context, create a culture of keep the client experience at the helm of all services People Management : - Manage and improve current performance in teams, and develop capabilities for future needs of the organization/ function - Mentor team members to take on larger responsibilities and build clear career paths by assessing performance and potential, at all levels - Create a culture of learning and continuous improvisation in teams - Build networks across functions and create opportunities to share learning across departments and help create a unified people capability Change Management : Create a positive experience around change by Implementing and managing change plans in teams, enabling them to see benefits of change We will count on you to: - Own up the overall Solution Delivery for BI Program and work directly with Business Stakeholders and other IT Teams (Must Have) - Work closely with Business Teams across the globe to be able to help chart out the overall BI Roadmap for the team - Help setup and enhance the processes that may be required to ensure smooth Delivery of BI Reporting Solutions as well as to mature the practices within the teams to help get towards the overall objective of building this as the BI CoE. - Knowledge of Industry Best Practices in BI World. Basically keep an eye on outside and share/incorporate any learnings into Org as well - Drive the Governance and Review of the Deliveries across the BI portfolio - Ability to identify process improvement opportunities General Skills: - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to multi task and liaise with multiple stakeholders - Ability to work in team across multiple projects and multiple geographies - Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build professional relationships - Excellent Problem solving skills with innovative and proactive approach - Ability to identify process improvement opportunities - Adaptability to change - Knowledge of processes & best practices within the team & industry - People management skills - Management of global stakeholders - Planning and decision making skills - Conflict management skills - Risk Management What you need to have: - 15 -18 years experience in Tier 1 or 2 IT services companies or Tier 1 Captives managing BI Solution Delivery - Should have managed IT teams of over 15 - 20+ employees in a global environment.
