Program Manager Summary : Division : Human Resources Department : Human Resources Sub-Department : Learning &amp; Development Job Title Manager : Learning &amp; Development ( Program Manager) Reports to : Senior Manager Learning &amp; Development Job Purpose : To manage various learning and capability development programs and initiatives. To drive effectiveness and manage budget utilisation is optimum. To ensure program outcomes are achieved successfully. Ensures there is a comprehensive and effective succession management strategy in place for the functional / divisional area. Principal Accountabilities : - Delivery Management - Will be responsible for the end to end management of marquee programs offered by the organization - Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization. - Liaise with internal teams to plan training delivery for current and future business needs. - Creating and managing long-term goals for capability development through flagship programs. - Developing a budget and operating plan for various programs. - Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement. - Ensure delivery and completion of programs within the agreed timelines - Partner with business to curate various learning programs or certifications Program Effectiveness : - Will be responsible for ensuring learner experience and knowledge transfer through the program - Will design the program using new learning methodologies and concepts to ensure behavioural changes and realization of agreed program impact on business - Will act as the mentor and coaching partner to learners to help them through their learning journey ensuring learners are provided adequate opportunities and resources required for learning, removing obstacles in the way of learning and providing business results. Content Development : - Leverage in-house applications like Challenger and Career Navigator to assess current competence and key gaps - Engage with business in continuous learning through interactive modes of engagement - Share business insights and support content development Stakeholder Management - Develop a close relationship with all stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services. - Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle. - Working with leadership teams to solicit and garner adequate organizational resources like leadership time, opportunities to experience new skills etc. - Analyzing program risks and sharing regular updates with business &amp; other stakeholders - Maintain data for all certifications, across projects - Proactively identify development areas and partner on developing detailed learning plans Relationships : - All Day to Day interaction with reporting authorities to provide update on progress - Fortnightly interaction with the manager for updates on projects and status - Regular connects with stakeholders and program participants Person Specifications : Education Essential : Graduate in any degree Desirable : Post Graduate degree/ diploma in Management Work Qualifications Essential : 7+ years of experience with at least 4 years proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position and thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods Desirable : PMP Certification Training Essential : Facilitation skills, knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principle Desirable : Certified trainer Experience Essential : Experience of having worked/conducted training sessions within the teams or across teams Desirable : Knowledge of OD and Talent Management basics Knowledge Essential : Excellent knowledge of MS Office Desirable : Working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage Skills &amp; Abilities Essential : - Analytical ability and decision making - Excellent communication, Influencing and Negotiation skills - Facilitation Skills - Excellent problem-solving ability Desirable : Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
