- As a part of the Knowledge Services function of MMGS, the incumbent will be supporting the Strategy and Operations initiatives of Marsh US and Canada (US&C) Advisory Business.

- MMGS is a global knowledge centre for Marsh McLennan and houses teams which work closely with the colleagues across various operating units and locations.

- Marsh Advisory provides insights and advice to help clients identify and mitigate risks, develop strategies to build resilience and improve performance, lower cost of risk and implement new strategies to expand what is possible for the business.

- MMGS is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mumbai office:

Director - Strategy and Planning

- Serve as a strategic partner providing guidance and support in the development and execution of the company's strategic initiatives.

- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments and teams, ensuring alignment and coordination of efforts.

- Conduct research and analysis on key business issues, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

- Drive the execution of strategic projects and initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful completion.

- Adapt at managing change and independently leading transformation initiatives. This includes driving process improvements, implementing innovative technologies, and adapting to evolving business needs.

- Provide analytical support to aid decision-making processes, offering insights and recommendations.

We will count on you to:

- Drive Strategic Financial Planning, Performance Analysis & Reporting

- Build knowledge and understanding of the Marsh Advisory business, its offerings, and strategic priorities.

- Assist in the development and execution of inorganic growth strategies.

- Budgeting and forecasting - support planning process, target setting, working with business to receive details, systems uploads, reports, and presentations to enable business to review plan, understanding of financial metrics, KPI's and drivers.

- Prepare leadership materials and presentations, and support sales and practice teams in value proposition developments.

- Assist in RFP responses, collaborate with client, and account executives to support the sales team in driving more opportunities.

- Contribute to Knowledge Management initiatives.

- Develop and maintain leadership dashboards and custom reports, participate in data and management information transformations, and identify opportunities for process automation.

- Assist in technology/vendor qualification and onboarding.

- Foster collaboration and engagement across departments and within Marsh McLennan.

- Coordinate and manage training calendars, including Leadership Development Programs (LDP) and Training Needs Identification (TNI) based central training interventions.

What you need to have:

- Masters in business administration from a reputed business school.

- Preferably Certified accountant (Chartered Accountant or CPA).

- Proficiency in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) is a mandatory.

- 12 to 15 years of experience in a strategic role, preferably into Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).

- Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) within the service industry, with a preference for candidates with the consulting experience.

- Experience of project management and operations.

- Strong influencing skills with the ability to build consensus and drive alignment across diverse teams.

- Knowledge of financial accounting, operations and reporting processes.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel and PPT) and project management tools.

- Understanding of business transformation and change management principles.

- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to think innovatively and drive product and process improvements.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, communicate with business leaders and work independently.

- Experience in Strategic Financial Planning, Performance Analysis And Reporting

- Experience in leading and managing large FP&A organizations focused on service delivery.

- Experience in corporate development and M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions).

- Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

- Familiarity with process automation and workflow management systems.

- High level of discretion and ability to manage sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
