Head of Sales
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as the India Head of Sales. This is a unique opportunity to take charge of our sales strategies, build a high-performing sales team, and contribute to our continued success.
1. Sales Leadership: You will be responsible for setting the sales strategy for our agency, with a focus on expanding our presence in the Indian market. You will lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to exceed revenue targets.
2. Market Expansion: Identify and target potential clients in the Indian e-commerce landscape who can benefit from our Shopify Plus services. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
3. Sales Team Development: Build, train, and manage a highly skilled sales team. Provide coaching, guidance, and ongoing support to ensure the team achieves their goals and maintains a deep understanding of our services.
4. Sales Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and budgets. Regularly update senior management on sales progress and performance against targets.
5. Client Engagement: Collaborate with our project and account management teams to ensure seamless handover of clients from sales to execution, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.
6. Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve the sales process, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and streamline workflows.
7. Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape, and provide strategic insights to adapt our sales approach accordingly.
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the e-commerce or digital agency sector.
- Exceptional understanding of the e-commerce and Shopify Plus ecosystem.
- Strong network of contacts in the Indian e-commerce industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Results-oriented, with a consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
