Role : Marketplace Lead - eCommerce The role would be responsible for managing the third-party e-commerce channel on a day to day basis and in driving revenue growth from this channel. The person will work alongside a dedicated team of E-commerce & digital marketing professionals to help deliver the overall e-commerce plan of the organization while playing a key role in driving the online marketplace business Responsibilities: - Responsible for managing & growing the marketplace business, co-own the P&L - Open up new third party e-commerce platforms by listing relevant categories & products - Maintain ongoing relationships & communication with key stakeholders such as category managers, logistic service providers, vendor partners & digital marketing agencies - Build on the existing business by adding new categories and product portfolio listings on the marketplaces - Work closely with the e-commerce team to build the brand on e-comm platforms - Undertake digital marketing - organic and paid media initiatives to drive performance & channel sales - Product Portfolio management - Assist the team with product sales and category performance inputs to optimize the product portfolio from time to time - Take ownership for complete marketplace sales operations, working alongside a cross-functional internal team and channel partners - Manage supply side, operating in close coordination with the internal Supply chain team, logistics partners - Stay up-to-date with the promotional calendars and plans of e-commerce platforms. Drive category interventions - Gather intelligence from e-commerce platforms to further strengthen the brand's offering Candidate Requirements : - MBA - 5-7 years of overall work experience - Self-starter with prior experience in a similar role / e-comm industry. Ideally should have handled marketplace sales for at least 3-4 years - Experience in Beauty & Personal care category is a plus - Comfortable with data & analytics
