Marketing Specialist (Digital Marketing & Product Marketing)

Summary :

- Marketing the products on retail websites, increase the awareness of the product selection and low prices to customers in a variety of ways to increase sales.

- Work across multi-country presence with different customer behaviors, and multiple form factors of desktop, mobile and tablet with a diverse set of product portfolios.

- Our client use several advertising channels to be able to bring customers. One of the major forms of advertising is by placing advertisements for the client on 3rd Party sites (Publishers) and apps on mobile devices. We have millions of such Publishers in their network, driving billions of dollars in sales for the client.

- Responsible for all marketing activities related to making the portfolio of products successful and increasing the associate business from torso and tail by targeting Associates based on their content type, retail product verticals, ongoing promotions etc.

- You would be working individually and also with a product team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing marketing projects to completion.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Past experience of 8+ years working in large global projects, preferably in a formal Product Management / Product Marketing role.

- Experience in marketing and business development successes.

- Must experience working with industry tools and analytics packages including email, web analytics, CRM and marketing automation platforms

- Desire person should experience on finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record staying on budget

- Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.

- Good skills in Excel and SQL, experience with business intelligence tools.

- Must show strong ownership, ability to dive deep, a bias for action and product sense.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in the online advertising industry would be a plus.

- Business development experience - you need to care, have the hunger and believe passionately about growing a large business opportunity.

- At least 2 years of marketing or product management experience in the Internet, digital media, eCommerce or high-tech industries.

- Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

- Ability to present ideas to various levels of an organization to explain and gain support for initiatives

- Excellent communication and data presentation skills that allow you to clearly, compellingly, and effectively influence audiences internally and externally, across organization boundaries

- Able to operate autonomously, making the right judgment calls on approach, priorities, and solutions.

- Have a healthy curiosity and skepticism of the status-quo. You seek to understand, test, and measure to determine the right approach to marketing.

- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus constraints.

- Effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.

Basic Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field. A post-graduation, full-time MBA would be preferred.

- A full time MBA, from a premier B-School is preferred.
