Job Synopsis:

Reports To : Director - Sales & Marketing

Description :

Works in Line with APAC/Corporate Market strategies to plan, schedule and execute marketing plans in product positioning, market penetration, product launches, training, Key Account and KOL Engagement programmes and forecasting against market and sales plans. Undertakes market intelligence research and strategizes with sales team to capture and broaden Elekta market share.As an integral part of the sales process, provides technical capabilities analyses, competitive analyses, and other technical data necessary to help position the product and convert a sale.

Responsibilities :

- Drafts rolling annual operating plan quarterly that supports the annual country plan

- Develops, lead and manage execution of new product launches

- Designs and implements conference/symposium strategies and tactis to support the country plan

- Works with Sales to adequately train them on product and therapy knowledge. Sets up Physician, Technician and staff training and education programme. Monitors post training results by physician to assess cost/benefit

- Analyses sales revenue units average selling prices and expenses results monthly. Revises tactics and writes monthly management reports to communicate results, issues and solutions

- Ensure a regulatory priority list is established to ensure information is communicated and understood by regulatory staff and appropriate action is taken

- Develop appropriate clinical activities plan

- Work with Government health care officials in change health care reimbursement policies related to therapy

- Spends 50% of his time in the filed helping to convert accounts, executing launches, clinical activities, gathering market and competitor information

- Make regular contact/communication with APAC marketing personnel and sales/country management to ensure alignment of plan

- Provide assistance to the S&M Director to train new hires on product knowledge and manage their progress.

- Incorporates Elekta Values and quality systems

- Authorization of quotations, orders etc. within the authorization matrix

- Determine spending for the function within the guidelines of EMSI budgets

- Develop and prepare relevant offers and quotations to customers

- Co-sign relevant offers and quotations as per EMSI policies and procedures

- Manage travel and entertainment expenses as per EMSI policies, procedures and quarterly budgets agreed with Director-Sales & Marketing.

- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Education : MBA(Marketing) from reputed B School
