Role Overview:
- Scientific leadership in MDR-TB- Shaping the environment; Chest Physician training for better TB management; Lead innovative disease awareness programs, compliance improvement programs and subsequently monitor health outcomes
- Shaping the market through multi stakeholder engagement
- Gather insights from existing customer
- Inclusion of India in WHO Early Adopter Program/ Global Patient Registry
- Issuance of India specific BDQ guidance and Protocol besides for all second line drugs
- Tiered Pricing for increased Public access; Access to Private market through monitored BDQ usage model
- Strategic Partnerships with Govt. and Private sector besides NGOs over an entire spectrum of MDR-TB management will be critical
- Disease management and Alliance models - Disease awareness, Diagnosis and Improving compliance rates
- Drive Strategic Planning and Business Planning process
- Coordination with the Regional and Global Marketing teams besides with international agencies such as WHO, UNITAID, GFATM etc
Illustrative responsibilities-
Market Development & Portfolio Management:
Public and Private
1. Drive synergy between Private and Public segments for better outcome
2. Inclusion of India in WHO Early Adopter Program/ Global Patient Registry
3. Issuance of India specific BDQ guidance and Protocol besides for all second line drugs
4. Close coordination along with continuous strategic direction/support to MSLs and Sales Team
Public
- Liaison with RNTCP program– both at National and State Level and facilitate synergy between the 2 for better outcomes
- Collaboration with NGOs and Doctor Associations for awareness and improving TB management in the country
- Drive TB diagnosis rate in the country- Coordination with accredited labs besides other stakeholders for enhancing case detection and diagnosis in the country
Private
- Therapy Area Leadership – CMEs, Webcast, participation in National and International conferences, speaker programs, workshops etc.
- Gain continuous insights from the Chest Physicians – for designing right marketing strategy and framework for the Private segment - besides seek support for better penetration in the segment
Launch Leadership:
- Lead and execute Marketing Planning & new product launch process which will incorporate regulatory, clinical, marketing & pricing strategy.
- Lead and execute required product training for the team
Strategic Planning (SP) & Business Processes (BP):
- Develop and own franchise Strategic Plan with franchise head
Business Development/ Prod Development:
- Evaluate the possibility for launch of MDRTB- Combi-Kits besides explore other opportunities that may improve current management practices
- Explore novel business models such as insurance, reimbursement etc.
- Coordinate with Regional/Global teams for novel opportunities (new indications/formulations etc)
Work closely with regional & source organizations:
- Coordination with the Regional and Global Marketing teams besides with international agencies such as WHO, UNITAID, GFATM etc
Education, Experience & Position Requirements:
- Graduate + Preferably Management Degree from a premier business school
- Should have 3+ years of prior marketing experience in MNCs in Pharma Sector
- Candidate should be ready to travel extensively for liaising with Public/Private health setups in the country
