The company sells its products through a Distributor network who import all products from its factories based out of New Zealand, Italy, USA, Mexico & Thailand.

Job Description - Reporting into the Country Head (India based) and Global Marketing Director (New Zealand based), you will be responsible for:

- Conceptualising and implementing Fisher & Paykel Appliances Indian marketing strategy, driving brand awareness in making it on of the Top 3 premium kitchen appliance brands by 2016, and recognition amongst the target group.

- Liaising with the global marketing team (based in NZ and other global centres) to ensure that all Indian marketing communication is aligned to global objectives.

- Working closely with the product management/development team to ensure the effective delivery of new products in the market.

- Liaise with the sales and customer experience team to ensure that the brand is represented in the ideal manner to the consumers.

- Annual marketing plan/calendar & Managing the marketing budget and ensuring optimum utilisation.

- Building strategic and tactical plans to help create awareness and affinity for the brand. This will be through a mix of consumer engagement activities, marketing associations, tie-ups and digital ideas and soliciting relevant opportunities which enhances the appeal of the brand.

- Furthermore, you will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy through all relevant channels – including retail, distribution, online and B2B.

The Successful Candidate - You will be a post graduate with at least 5 years of experience in core marketing/branding roles in a consumer facing industry. Prior experience of having worked in the consumer durables industry, ideally in the field of appliances is preferred. The client is looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive business and deliver results. Considering that the company has a lean set up in the India market, you should be hands-on with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tasks.
