Our client is the world’s largest independent mobile video service providing consumers to search, discover and share mobile videos. Currently in India they are serving more than 100 million videos a month, and have 14 million monthly active users. As a mobile media company, they work closely with content partners, operators, brand advertisers and handset manufacturers to bring consumers the best mobile video experience.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

Consumer lifecycle marketing – with a track record of stellar results from the online or mobile world the successful candidate will be able to analyze our existing business – acquisition, engagement and retention, and develop + execute a strong model for future growth. To-date Company’s audience has been largely organic, now is the time to open up more acquisition channels and to reward the loyalty of our existing 14 million monthly active users in India.

Partner Program Marketing – As well as our consumer base, the company is at the center of an eco-system of carriers, advertisers, content providers and device manufacturers. Working closely with the Business Development and Advertising Sales teams, each of these groups needs a tailored strategy and program, to buildcloser, more trusted relationships that thus reach revenue goals.

Brand Marketing – Promote and foster the company brand, and its vertical channels . Work closely with Corporate Marketing and the global team to position the company as the world’s largest independent mobile video and media company. Develop campaigns that are relevant and engaging for consumers within the different regions of India.

Employee Communications – Support India country manager with a series of internal marketing initiatives that build the company’s culture and bond the team into a cohesive force. Ensure that company’s Vision, Mission and Values are well understood and respected by the team. Provide sensitivefeedback loops to check the employee pulse.

Key skills

- Excellent analytical, quantitative skills and a track record in digital acquisition and retention marketing.

- Able to take a holistic view of business needs, successfully driving and prioritizing marketing activities across multiple functions, nationally and in key regions of India.

- Ability to hire, motivate and drive a high performing team.

- Problem solving and creative mind-set.

- Inspirational colleague able to get buy-in and action from a wide variety of folks.

- Experience leading change, and negotiating priorities in a fast moving and sometimes ambiguous environment.

Qualifications

- At least 8 – 12 years experience in relevant consumer marketing roles, in positions of increasing responsibility.

- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural, global environment.

- BA or BS Degree. Desirable – MBA

- Experience in product/ brand marketing, marketing program management, consumer research and two years of experience in digital marketing across Search, Display & Social.

- Demonstrated capability of breakthrough and innovative thinking while developing marketing strategy & programs.

- Strong project management skills, presentations and PowerPoint development

- Passion for technology and making a difference to people’s lives
