Role Title - Marketing & Communication Manager

Role Purpose and Description (statements to demonstrate why this job exists)

- This position is a functional position with overall insight into all aspects of the commercial marketing department. The position is responsible for leading and facilitating Clients internal and external communication process. The position will support the Lead Management Process with pertinent data from all appropriate sources.

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities

(The main areas in which results are required in order to achieve the role purpose/ accountabilities of the job holder)

1. Key Responsibilities:

- Identify business opportunities short and long term based on market feedback and intelligence

- Drive the role of being strategic focal point for Marketing.

- Adopt & communicate Trade strategy to cluster and enhance execution

- Provide insight for local strategy through market, trade and customer segment analysis

- Drive customer satisfaction survey process in terms of owning the nomination process, the action plan development and implementation – in cooperation with Sales - and be focal point to Global HQ Marketing team

- Support yield and volume generation by development and implementation of campaigns

- Ensure communication in cluster that supports internal and external stakeholders across all communication channels as well as strengthening ‘our name’ in the market place.

- Establish CLIENTS Logistics internal communication strategy (basis findings from Employee Engagement Surveys etc.)

- Develop and maintain CLIENTS Logistics intranet page

- Develop and publish weekly readers and other internal communication

- Increase brand awareness through external media appearance and releases, participation in exhibitions and fairs

- First point of contact for all branding activities across Organization

2. Market Research

- Industry and market relevant topics

- Product development and new product potentials

- Competitor analysis

- Own, maintain and share potential customers list

KPI’s

- New opportunities identified / Leads generated across each region

- Updating Connect with latest on Business and People

- External Network leveraged for business growth – participation in exhibitions, conferences and business development from there on.

- Quality and timeliness of external media updates

- Adherence to branding initiatives across regions

Skills & Experience (expected entry level requirements for applicant consideration that apply for role)

1. Minimum 7+ years experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Product Management

2. The position requires excellent English in written and verbal communication skills

3. An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards.

4. Excellent planning and organizing skills

5. Ability to develop new and innovative products and solutions

6. Strong analytical skills

7. Ability to manage projects across functions and business units and influence others

8. Excellent networking, relationship building/maintenance, and communication and presentation skills

9. Demonstrated excellent writing skills and ability to formulate internal/external articles
