Key Roles & Responsibilities :
- Be an active member of the Centre of Excellence for analytics and data driven decisioning across Retail Products and Client Segments of the Retail Bank.
- Provide expertise and support in developing and implementing analytics solutions to support Products and Client Segments.
- Embed analytics in the business so that campaigns drive income as per Retail Clients Strategy and P&L targets, specifically:
- Drive Client-centric analytics with in depth engagement:
- Client segmentation
- Client Lifecycle Management (Acquire and activation, Cross Sell/Up Sell, Retention & Win-back)
- Enable scientific "test and learn" for direct to client campaigns
- Leads and trigger development from both segmentation and propensity models
- Pricing analytics and optimization
- Digital analytics including social media data analytics
- Line burn and line utilization analytics
- Client and product profitability analyses
- Business partnership with Country Client Analytics, Group Risk Analytics and Group Integrated Distribution.
- Compliance and Control
- Ensure appropriate operational procedures are in place in compliance with the Bank's strategy, branding policies and standards.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Statistics, Econometrics or Economics)
- 7+ years' experience in roles at an executive level ideally including experience covering Product analytics, Marketing analytics, data driven marketing and project management across a range of Portfolios and/or Industries
- Proven leadership track record driving business performance and sponsorship by senior stakeholders
- A strong understanding of profit levers and lifecycle management.
- Ability to effectively translate insights into business strategy.
- Strong project management experience including cross-functional working.
- Sound understanding of CRM principles, marketing automation, P&L forecasting and database marketing techniques.
- Strong in statistical techniques and propensity modelling
- Sound understanding of analysing large volumes of data
- Understanding and practice of digital analytics an advantage
- Very strong SAS, SQL and Excel/VBA skills
- Understanding of other programming languages an advantage
- Experience in the Financial Industry a distinct advantage
