It is set up by experienced deal makers and ex Hedge Fund managers and former M&A experts with backing of long established Wall Street Hedge Fund professionals. Responsibilities 1. Finance Function Lead for the firm a. Maintaining accounting records in Tally b. Preparing monthly MIS for management review c. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements w.r.t. IT Returns, TDS Returns etc. d. Responsible for activities like salary processing, expense reimbursement, support in logistics etc e. Providing strategic insights w.r.t. overall financial management of the fund 2. Finance Supervisor for the School Asset a. Owning the revenue management system of the school b. Reviewing the accounting records maintained by the school accountant c. Implementing key projects for developing systems and processes for operational efficiency of the school asset based on business requirement d. Maintaining Cash Flow Statement of the school e. Coordinating with the bank for loan repayments and fees collection f. Acting as the SPOC from the finance team to all external parties including banks, auditors, consultants etc Skills Required 1. Cutting-edge accounting skills 2. Proficient knowledge of Tally 3. Strong entrepreneurial streak 4. Risk taking ability 5. Ability to work in small teams and to multitask Preferred Prior Work Experience 1. Accounting & Finance 2. Auditing & Assurance 3. Minimum 2+ years Preferred Academic Background (either of the below) 1. Chartered Accountant (Final/Inter) 2. MBA in Finance Location: Chandigarh / Panchkula
