Investment Associate - Marathon Edge is a private equity style investment firm. We make long term, private equity style investments in private companies, and small publicly listed companies. We look for companies where we can make strong long term returns. We are not a venture capital fund and do not make early stage investments. We only invest in the Technology and Consumer sectors. - As a core member of the investment team, you will help source, evaluate, invest in, and manage private equity investments. Daily activities in initial years will significantly focus on market analysis, financial analysis and modeling. - We seek individuals that have strong technical fundamentals (especially in accounting/finance), are intellectually curious, hard working, detail oriented and enjoy working with companies to help them achieve their goals. - We make very few investments per year. At Marathon Edge, you will spend at least half your time working with our portfolio companies on various initiatives. You must enjoy working with companies / management teams to help them improve and win in the marketplace. - No prior investment experience required. But you should be able to articulate why you are appropriate for the role; and you must have some fluency with financial statements, financial analysis and modeling.
