- Lead the company's L&D function and manage a specialist team of trainers delivering training solutions aligned to strategic plans, enabling employees to achieve business objectives and organisational change process, across geographies.
- Prepare and manage the department budget to ensure optimisation and monitor effectiveness report outcomes of specific initiatives.
- Responsible for manpower planning for the function to ensure high productivity, optimum resource utilisation, excellent service delivery and monitor& report ROI.
- Develop and maintain a network of trainers/ agencies for outsourcing training areas, as necessary.
- Assess training needs & design courses/ content for employees in consultation with domain leaders, including assessment methods and measurement systems and design appropriate certifications for differential levels.
- Own the implementation of a culture of continuous learning by managing organised/ calendarized events/activities to ensure a coordinated approach to delivery.
- Lead the identification & development of appropriate integrated systems to support learning objectives companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training).
- Control, monitor & quality check for the team through audits for continuous skill & knowledge enhancement.
- Create and manage an updated Knowledge/ Learning Management system and platform.
- Develop an embedded approach to evaluation of learning and development activities consistent with the organisational approach to ROI and Quality Improvement to determine the effectiveness of interventions. Update/refresh these as required, to optimize their beneficial impact.
- Stay tuned with the market changes and develop/recommend new areas of learning for proactively creating a deep bench strength of talent in the company.
- Work closely with the Head of Human Resources and key stakeholders to design and implement programs for employee development through effective career pathing.
